Event Web Accessibility: An Evaluation Methodology and Reporting Findings (Webinar 2 of 2)
Type Webinar
Description Testing for accessibility can sometimes seem like a daunting task, especially for those who may be new to accessibility. Many state agencies and Higher Ed institutions can benefit from incorporating an effective methodology when evaluating the state of accessibility of a website and other Information and Communication Technology (ICT). In the first webinar of this series, you learned about some of the assistive technology tools that people with disabilities use to access online content, and why greater accessibility benefits everyone. This webinar will cover the steps to include when applying a proven evaluation method, and how to record findings. Areas covered in this webinar include: - defining the scope of an evaluation - exploring the website to be evaluated - selecting a representative sample of URLs - reporting the findings
